    • Duties: Project HOPE Foundation, a leading provider of home-, clinic-, and classroom-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, is actively seeking energetic, dedicated individuals interested in beginning a career as a full- or part-time Registered Behavior Technician. The only nonprofit provider of ABA therapy in Upstate South Carolina, Project HOPE Foundation offers a range of programs designed to meet the needs of our more than 200 clients, creating a flexible, fast-paced, and collaborative environment for staff. As a member of Hope Reach, began as a program under Project HOPE Foundation in 2007, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works in client teams under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized educational and behavioral programming through 2-4 hour sessions of one-on-one therapy. The typical client is between 3-8 years old, as research shows that intensive early intervention results in significantly improved long-term outcomes. In the past year, Hope Reach therapists have provided over 88,000 hours of therapy, resulting in over 95% of clients gaining significant, measurable skills. Job Responsibilities: • Provide direct 1:1 ABA services targeting the development of language and play and new academic, behavioral, social, and daily living skills. • Develop replacement responses for difficult or disruptive behaviors. • Create a fun, engaging environment for clients, using each individual’s motivations to promote meaningful learning opportunities and experiences. • Collect data on clients’ goals using an iPad. • Communicate with fellow therapists and BCBA regarding client programs. • Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers through the modeling of appropriate interactions. • Participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications and further develop best clinical practices.
